1) DE PAPEL:
In order to give due recognition to the inquisitiveness and creativity of all Geology sector's developers, we are organizing De Papel - a National Level Paper Presentation Competition as part of GEOPIXEL 2011. This endeavour is taken to provide a platform to the potential researchers and scholars to demonstrate and further polish their presentation skills. Students from diverse regions of India would participate to discuss the emerging issues & to explore their thoughts & experiences to achieve a variety of perspectives and thus contributing to the development of the Energy Sector. The event will be judged by an elite panel consisting of professors with in-hand experience in industries.
Participation in the DE PAPEL National Level Technical Symposium is opened to all individuals who are interested in geology, mineral resources, Geo technical engineering, engineering geology, Geo mechanics, petroleum, mining, geothermal, groundwater, hydrology, geophysics, environmental geology, geochemistry, tectonics, earthquake, Geohazards, Geographic Information System (GIS), and remote sensing.
The committee of GEOPIXEL 2011 welcomes the submission of abstracts for oral presentations.
The abstracts will be reviewed to determine its relevance to the main themes of the SYMPOSIUM:
- Geology and Mineral Resources,
- Geotechnical Engineering and Geomechanics
- Petroleum and Energy Resources,
- Groundwater Resources,
- Geophysics and Environmental Geology,
- Tectonics and Earthquake, and
- Geohazards

Certificate of Merit (For both Author and Co author) for the First, Second and Third Position.
Certificate of Participation (For both Author and Co author) for the rest of the ParticipantS.
First Prize: INR 7000
Second Prize: INR 4000
Third Prize: INR 2500
REGISTRATION FEES:
INR 100 Per Author.
Both Authors should be registered for the Presentation if any.
Registration will be On The Spot and as well through email by sending the registration form.
Registration Procedure is only applicable for Selected Authors for the Presentation.

3) ENCUESTA:
Know the who's who? Know what's what? Then you're good at quiz. But you should know what's where to be aEncuesta at GEOPIXEL 2011. Encuesta is set to be the flagship event of GEOPIXEL 2011 as it's going to test your knowledge on general as well as technical stuff. We'd add an extra image and map section in this competition just to test your image and map comprehension capabilities.

4) ENTREVISTA:
Are you currently unemployed and looking for a job? Even if you are employed right now, are you looking to change jobs or careers? If so, you may soon start examining all available job openings in your area, as well as submit job applications or resumes for those openings. With luck, you will soon find yourself with a number of scheduled interviews.
